If you're flying in to Utah for the Sundance Film Festival, it's most likely you'll arrive via Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). This one of the busiest hubs in the western United States so your options on flights will be plentiful. SLC is about 36 miles from Park City itself.

Once you've arrived at Salt Lake City, getting to Park City is easy. Most people opt to use one of the various resort shuttle companies to take them the 36 miles to festival central. Shuttles leave the airport approximately every 15 - 20 minutes and the journey time to Park City is around 45 minutes (however, this can be longer during Salt Lake City’s morning and evening rush hours). Fares start at around $35 per person one way, but if you know your departure date, you can often save a few dollars by purchasing a round-trip ticket. Flat-rate shuttle hire is also significantly cheaper if you’re travelling in a group of 4+.
A regular taxi from SLC International to Park City will probably set you back around $100-$120, plus tip each way. If taxiing is your thing, you’re way better off going for an Uber, which can be as little as $40-$50 one-way for an UberX, but be wary of surge pricing, which may actually make it more expensive than a shuttle.
